Ride on Baxter, so much fun, moving forward has improved out of sight and he is working long and low really well (as far as I can tell when riding alone anyway!).

PHOTO. Working ‘long and low’ from inside leg to outside hand…although excuse my hand over the wither… a little tricky riding and taking photo’s!

Working on keeping relaxed shoulders and moving my shoulders with Baxter’s, also to stop blocking Baxter’s shoulders through my hips and legs to give him freedom of movement.

I always work on leg yield to get Baxter in the ‘lateral movement’ frame of mind before tackling shoulder-in.

Shoulder-in is coming along, need to relax more again to allow the forward movement.

PHOTO. Working nicely amongst the million flies!
